Having been given a time frame of an hour, the event started by 2:15 PM. As the competition progresses, the contestants unwaveringly construct their pieces, one line at a time. All seemed to have gone normally, the flow of the contest and the participants. Tension could never be felt in the atmosphere, having the participants calmly crafting their own entries and even throwing out a joke or two.
Upon finishing, the contestant shall have registered his/her craft as an official entry. When time had exactly arrived at 3:15 PM, registration of some participants were still in process. This is where the contest proper ends.
After the event, officers of the TLE Club fixed the venue before leaving. Overall, the contest was a big success!

Nutrition Month Essay Writing Contest and Pagsulat ng Sanaysay 2012
The students of the St. Michael School of Marilao celebrated the annual Nutrition Month. July 12, 2012, the students took part in competitions which had helped in enhancing their talents to remind everybody the importance of a healthy lifestyle and eating vegetables. They pre-stated the theme: "Pagkain ng gualy ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain."
Before the contest, necessary preparations were made. All started, having every contestant eager to win. The two facilitators felt the overwhelming tension in the atmosphere as they proceeded to the contest proper. In the venue (the school library), one can hear thumping hearts being amplified in the silence of the surroundings which shows how tense the competition is. As part of the mechanics of the contest, the composition of each participant should have 220-250 words, it should be cursive and must noot contain erasures for it is strictly prohibited. The contenders were given an hour to create their entries. "It's exciting. I'm happy because those participants are having a hard time and they have the only thorn among the roses.", Mrs. Rivera, moderator of the TLE Club, had said. At 2:55, the first contestant was already done. The runtime for the contest is from 2:03 PM up to 3:03 PM. Although two of the senior competitors were overtime, the contest ended successfully. |
